Phase coating on this Barska Spotting Scope results in maximum resolution and optical quality by correcting or "phase shifting" the light that is reflected off the prisms and optimizing it for the Range finding Scopes's aperture size. This Tacoma model by Barska also features a side mounted focus knob making focusing adjustments convenient and easy.
