Product Info for GG&G Aluminum Sniper Grade 30mm Scope Rings
GG&G 30mm Aluminum Sniper Grade Rings are super-light - a pair of them weighs a mere 4.8 ounces. GG&G 30mm Aluminum Scope Rings are manufactured from exceptionally strong 7075 T6 billet aluminum alloy - the very same aluminum alloy used to manufacture Colt AR-15 and M16 receivers, as well as many of their clones. GG&G has lavished great attention has been placed upon the design of these scope rings. GG&G Aluminum Sniper Scope Rings feature a side bar that is significantly thicker than most, to permit high-torque tightening without the associated problem of sidebar flex. The ring cap is held in place by four socket-head steel cap screws. These screws thread into stainless steel Helicoil inserts to prevent stripping the threads. The square-cut cross bolt and its locking nut are manufactured from 4140 chrome moly steel. GG&G Aluminum Sniper-Grade Scope Rings are only 0.625 inches in width, and are high enough to accommodate a scope with a 56mm objective lens. Light and yet incredibly rugged, these rings set a new standard for professional law enforcement, military and civilian use.
