This GG&G Scope Rail is a full rail configuration with enough relief to allow cartridge manipulation and spent cartridge ejection. The dovetail on the GG&G Mounting Base for Remington 700 Rifles is machined to military specifications. The recoil slots are machined to accept the wide recoil lugs found on sniper-quality rings. Manufactured from 4140 billet steel, the GG&G Remington Scope Mount features a black manganese phosphate mil-spec finish and only weigh 4.2 ounces.
