Tactical 6-S is a PELTOR hearing protector that listens when appropriate and also attenuates when needed. This Hearing Protection device effectively perceives and localizes weak sounds. A separate microphone, receiver, amplifier and volume control in each ear cup gives the Peltor Tactical 6-S true stereophonic reception. Assisted by an "electronic vent", the Peltor Tactical-6 Sound Trap Hearing Protector can reduce hazardous "impulse noise" from firearms to harmless levels within five milliseconds. This eliminates the risk of damaging noise reaching the ear. This Peltor Hearing Protection headphone folds down into a small, compact package for transport and storage.
