The D-121is a highly advanced, US Generation II, compact night vision monocular. Itrepresents the central part of a system that allows for great flexibility in itsuse. The D-121 is a high performance pocket-sized viewer that offers numerousbuilt-in features. Those features include automatic brightness control, brightsource protection, instant shut down and battery saving power control. Inaddition, this unit incorporates a high power infrared illuminator that can beturned on independently. The D-121 utilizes fiber optics to display its IRoperational mode within the users field of view. The D-121 can easily beconverted into a hands free goggle, a camera or camcorder adaptable imageenhancement device, a high magnification viewer and it can be used as a weaponscope in conjunction with an external aiming system.
