The build is sold and durable and will start at the bottom of your Weaver base. Weaver bases are available in side and top mounts as well as one- and two-piece sets. They attach to your firearm easily and will not require modifications. In fact they come with screws that are custom made to hard fasten to the bottom of your Weaver base.
